Robertson Fire District places new Lifepack 15 monitors in service
Robertson Fire District has recently placed four new Lifepack 15 monitors in service on LSV Ambulances, 5017 and 5027 and also on Fire Rescue LSV Pumper 5014 and Fire Rescue LSV Aerial apparatus 5025. The new cardiac monitors are state of the art with an increased battery life, end tidal co2 monitoring, CPR guidance metronome, and most importantly, Modem capability. The Modem allows a 12 lead EKG to be transmitted to the hospital emergency room, cardiac cath lab, and the on call Cardiologist simultaneously. This shortens the treatment time during a heart attack and will save lives. State of the art technology gives our Paramedic crews the edge when treating life threatening conditions.
